dailysmidgens:

Apparently, Cyrano (and the others) wasn’t the only star that night. Paolo was a showstopper. B-) Awww, Paolo. Your tears made us all feel warm and fuzzy. It’s like an indirect “good job.” Well, that’s what I felt. Hahahaha (even though the piano…nvm. Let’s do better next time, prod!)

Mabuhay ka!

Dulaang ROC and TALINHAGA Theatre Collaborative transform Edmond Rostand’s “Cyrano de Bergerac” into a new sarsuwela!

CYRANO is about a young man’s bravery, love for country, unflinching virtues and the power of love. Now set in the Philippines, specifically in the 1940s, the play employs Filipino themes, conditions and history. From an era of innocence, it traverses the turbulent years of war to a time of change and forgotten memories.

“CYRANO: Isang Sarsuwela” is definitely a play of laughter, tears and panache!
